What an awesome beginning to what is proving to be the best season in TVA history.  TVA 13 Gold-Trevor has taken home the first Gold trophy for the season with a spectacular run at the Champions Explosion.  They started out on Championship Sunday by first beating our own TVA 13-Isaac in a well played match by both teams.  They then defeated cross town rival Champions 13 Regional in straight games in the semi-finals.  In the finals they faced the Champions 12 Elite, a very skilled team that had handed them their only loss of the tournament 24 hours earlier.  After losing their first game, the ladies rallied in the next two games with a surge of energy and confidence, and defeated Champions 12 Elite, returning the favor and giving them their only loss of the tournament.  Congratulations to Coach Trevor, Coach Lauren and all the ladies for a job well done.

Congratulations to TVA 15 National and TVA 17 National teams for both finishing 5^th in the Tampa United Kickoff Classic.  TVA 16 National looked poised to win their first match of the season with an impressive showing but lost their only match in the semi-finals at the Tampa United Kickoff Classic to finish 3^rd.  Congratulations to all three teams for a job well done.

TVA 15 Black and TVA 16 Black represented the club well at the Jax Jam.  TVA 15 Black played their best volleyball to date finishing 5^th overall.  Coach Liz was very impressed saying “I didn’t know they would play that well.”  TVA 16 Black almost brought home some hard ware by finishing 2^nd in Silver.  They also played their best tournament to date.   “The girls played their hearts out and really came out of the box to do their all time best.” (Kerry Hanrahan, parent 16 Black)  It was an awesome tournament and the ladies had a wonderful time in Jacksonville.
